CAT(Common Admission Test)

The most lucrative MBA test where the dream of students get admission. Common Admission Test (CAT) is the most popular MBA test. The test is held every year for admission to postgraduate management courses in all the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) . Some other management institutes besides the IIMs are also included. There are more than 2700 seats in various management programs offered by IIMs whereas 165-odd institutes are also there to admit students based on CAT scores. Every year more than two lakhs students appear for CAT.

From 2009 CAT is conducted online during certain time frame. Important dates for CAT 2011 are as follow.

XAT(Xavier Admission Test)

For more than 60 years XLRI is conducting Admission Test on all India level to select the most appropriate students for management education. XLRI's long experience and the expertise have helped them in extending this test to other Management Institutes. There are more than 70 plus Management Institutes who were selecting students from XAT 2011.

XAT is generally conducted on "First Sunday of January every year." Official date for XAT 2012 is not yet declared.

SNAP(Symbiosis National Aptitude Test)

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common written test for the admission to all the Post-Graduate Institutes of Symbiosis International University.

IIFT(Indian Institute of Foreign Trade)

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was set up in 1963 by the Government of India. This institute was established as an autonomous organisation to help professionalize the countries foreign trade management. It is a prestigious business school of India today.

AH-MBA

This is Common Entrance Test conducted by DTE, Maharashtra for admission to PG degree in MBA institutes and PGDBM/PGDM courses in Government, University Managed and Unaided institutes of Maharashtra.

MAH-MBA is generally conducted in the "Last week of February" or "First week of March".

NMAT(NMIMS Management Aptitude Test)

NMAT is conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai for admission to various specialised courses in MBA.

MHT-CET

This is the entrance exam conducted by Directorate of Technical education in Maharashtra. This is exam is must for the admission in Maharashtra engineering colleges.

AIEEE(All India Engineering Entrance Examination)
